ATTENTION:OPINIONS WANTED

I don't post very often, because I usually just read posts.I would really like to know if I'm going to have problems.Last year I did H/I.This year I'm doing the cam.I picked the TF stage one.My setup is currently as follows:Stock bottom end(50,000 mi),Cobra intake,65mmTB,76mm MAF,AFPR,190 FP,180 thermosat,1.7rr,stock cam,Eddy Performer heads(1.9,1.6),BBK un= shorties, offroad h-pipe,2 chamber flows,5 speed.I know there are better cams out there. But I don't want driveabilitry issues and can't afford a custom grind. Now comes the ?s.Is any body running a simular set up?Have any problems with idle, piston to valve clearance? Is there any other way of checking clearance without pulling the head and using clay? Are the 1.7rr going to nhurt the performance of the cam?The car will always be N/A,supercharger in my dreams, will never happen.Any input would be appreciated.

A lot of people run the Stage 1 cam from trick flow and love it. I haven't heard of any issues ever reported with it.

I don't see a problem with the 1.7's but just make sure that you check all the clearances through the rocker travel so you are sure you are OK.

Thanks for the replies.I'm going to start pulling her apart tomorrow, hopefully I'll have her back together by Mon or Tues.I think I have a line on a degreeing kit that I can borrow.Found some info on Crane's and Comp's sites that will get me thru this.I never degreed a cam before, this will be a learning experence. We always just lined up the dots when I was a kid.
