I had the same dilemma as you. My 00' GT vert is also Laser Red. I opted to go with SilverStars for the better light and forgo the foglights. I have been happy with the results.

Looks like we're all in the same boat. I really want to put fog lights on mine too. I really liked the round BMW 3 series foglights but I found out they cost about $300 each. I.m still in the market for fog lights though.
I have seen some foglights on a Sallen front bumper, it doesn't look too good....looks kinda like it's just "there," foglights just don't seem to fit on the Saleen front end, IMO.
