I just purchased a 1996 gt and it has a few problems, more than i wanted to deal with, anyways the door locks will unlock from the passenger door button but will not lock from it, nor will the driver side lock or unlock... i checked all fuse's, I am stumped already. Does any body have knowledge of how there work and where should i start... the switches are good i checked them with a volt meter, i am showing power when button is pushed to lock or unlock... Some how power is not getting to the cylinders to lock them.... this is to be my daily driver so i dont put miles on my C6, if i can get it straightened out. lol.lol

Check to see if your getting power to the actuators. Then look for bad wires between them if no power. Also check for power just behind the connector on the switch (if thats not where you already checked it.

First of all thanks for your help Squeak93

I have power behind the switches. when i tap unlock or lock on the driver side it shoes power going out of it, maybe a loose connection at the noids . on the passenger tap unlock it triggers both noids to unlock, tap lock nothing? Are their any relays that might be bad some where, I dont get why this is happening, I would think that if the passenger unlocks the doors it would lock as well. drivers door is dead power going out from rocker switch but nothing...
if any body want to chime in, please do so, any help is better than no help... I will probably have to take it in and pay the money to get them fixed, I thought it would be a easy fix, was thinking it was a relay or fuse.... Looks like power is going out but not getting to the noid, i will need to pull door panel and i will be able to find issue, if power is going out, and reaching noids then the noid has bad ground of id shot.... very strange...
