Auto Rpm shift points

I got the diablo predator and was wonder if anyone has a suggestion to put the shift range to right now i have them on stock and was seeing what the best shift points are at.

That depends a lot on your car.

With a stock v6, dont go too high because you will run out of the power band of the engine. Try moving the shift point around to see where the car feels like it is moving the best both right before and right after the shift.

Also, keep in mind that there are a few disastrous limiters. The first is the torque converter and the next is a stupid little snap ring that holds the intermediate one way clutch in place. Going too high into the upper 5k range might get you into one of those.

ah ok so far all i have done to her is dual flowmaster 40's K&N FIPK and headman hedders nothing to serious yet gotta wait for those mods

I am going to get 4.10 with a t-lock for the car just gotta save up that 700 big ones for it lol I heard that will give me a good puch until you put a power adder on the car

Yup, it's one of the best bang for buck mods out there. You'll have plenty fun with them Just be sure to get a tuner or speedcal.
