Hey guys, quick question, for now...

Who's done a T5 in a 4.6L??

I hear it's been done, but with what bellhousing?

Also, I'll be swapping from an auto.

I can get a free T5 and figure if I put built internals in it (later on), it should be fine for my 400hp goal.

lemme know what you guys think, and know...

Thanks,
Jason

if you do get a t5 make sure its from a 94-95, they have longer imput shafts which you will probably need.

Couldn't you fit a tremec TKO in their without problems? If soI would do that, much more cost effective than a T5 in the end.

The T-5 bellhousing will not bolt to a modular motor. As far as i know, nobody makes an adapter for it.

With a 4.6L you are better off with a T-45 or a T-3650. They are stronger trans.

Just sell the T-5

Dude forget T-45 and go TKO600. You will never have to worry about it breaking unless you get over 600 ft/lbs of torque.

He can get used T-45 with around 20000miles for about $400 (from me ) or TKO for almost $2000.
