I have a 98 mustang that I love because of how I got it. but it is a v6 auto ... kinda sad. I have found a 95 gt with a manual t5. I am pretty sure I can do the entire engine swap without any problems. the problem I am trying to find out is what is involved in installing the entire clutch assembly and pedals. is it direct bolt on or is there some welding of brackets that I will need to do. thanks for any help you can give.

The pedals should be a direct swap, both assemblies bolt on the same way. However, I think you'll have more problems than just the engine & tranny. The 96-98 Mustangs have a different fuel system than the 94-95, so you'll have to swap them as well. The wiring in the dash may also be different, so you might have to swap some wiring over.

I'm only familiar with the 94-95 Mustangs, so I don't know the specific differences between 94-95 and 96-98. But you'll have a harder time then I am with my 2-cylinder upgrade with snake oil (see my sig below).
