I've got a car w/ a t5 in it now. The tranny is in sad shape. 2nd gear syncro's are just about done for and 3rd is getting there too. So needless to say my ET's are not too consistent. I was going to go with another 5 speed but then started toying with the idea of swapping the t5 out for an AOD or c4. I have never dealt with these trannys and was wondering which would be a better bet to put in a car going 11's now and projected for 10's, and what work (on top of stall converter and shift kit) would be necessary for the trans to hold up. Any info would be helpful.
