auto tranny leak

HI, i recently bought a 89 mustang lx with a 87 mustang gt motor and tranny. It has a bad tranny leak....what are the common causes of a major leak in this style of mustang.

i've seen pan gaskets leaking, torque convertors leaking, front seals leaking, bushings walking. just like any other transmission, oh yeah shifter seals leak too.

yup, not to be a smart ass but climb underneath and where you see the drip coming from thats where the leaks gonna be change the seal or the gasket whitchever is the case your not gonna diagnose it by looking at the spot on the driveway
