Hey everyone i have some basic questions.. i have an 08 mustang GT automatic and its time to change the trans fluid. I would like to try the Royle Purple Max ATF synthetic trans fluid.. is this 100% okay to use? How many quarts do i need to buy to do the fluid change? Thanks for the help.
The system hold 11.9 Quart dry, I am not sure if there is a drain on the converter or not. If not you will need about 8 quarts for a Fluid & Filter Change. I would Use Redline D6 it is a Better Class of Synthetic than Royal Purple.
You can also use the Redline Racing ATF it will have a little Less Clutch Slippage and send a few more Housepower to the Rear Wheels.
