1. First look at your stock handle and see if there is a set screw in the base of the handle. Some models do and some don’t. If you do have one loosen the set screw.
2. Next set the parking brake.
3. Push the selector button in on the shift handle and pull it back into 1st gear. While holding the selector button in pull up on the handle and it will come loose.
