Auto+twinscrew = Traction Problems?

I'm sure my Star Specs would have been awesome around 400-425 rwhp / tq, but I didn't get them until after my 5.3L stroker w/ TVS 2300 build (which makes quite a bit more than that).

You're right about the J-mod. I had forgotten that the earlier years were given gimped 4R70Ws from the factory. If anyone's interested, I show exactly what the J-mod entails for the '01 and up cars in my build thread: http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/flghtmstr1s-700-rwhp-build.822924/.

I basically skimmed this thread and will add my .02 cents now:

Traction, what fixes this? The answer is a properly setup suspension. In my opinion UPR Pro Series suspension and a 275 pro radial from MT and you won't be able to make enough power to worry about traction problems ever again.

Problem Solved

Or, if your car isn't making enough power to justify that, throw a set of ET Streets on 17 x 9 wheels with a stock suspension and save that $2,000.

A stock suspension car will go WELL into the 10s with a decent tire.
