Same Everything, except for look's basically. Auto Meter is defenitly nicer and has alot more gauge's and design's avaliable.

Autogage is Autometer's economy line- no frills, and as far as I know same performance. I like my Autogage 5" tach with shift light, especially for $119.00!

I have some of both in my car. I can say that the autogauge stuff is not bad, but there is definately a better quality to be found in the autometer stuff.

Autogage is a model of autometer, as is sport comp... for example "i have an autometer autogage tach" or "i have an autometer sport comp tach."

Get it? Autogauge is just the bottom of the line one, no memory etc, but just as accurate.

I have the autogauge memory tach with shift light. I dont have any issues with it. I have never hooked my car to a machine, so I dont know how accurate it is. I know I spent over 350 on my gauges. I too have the sport comps in my car. The ones with the needle in the center of the gauge.
