Just wondering if anyone has tried this...
I had a brilliant idea! What I did was re-run my windshield washer lines to the rear of the car. Just un-plugged it from the firewall and ran a new line to the driverside wheel, where i T'd it and ran another line to the passenger wheel. I drained my washer fluid and filled it with bleach. Well, due to gravity, once i pushed my windshield washer button, the entire fluid container was siphoned out. So, to remedy that problem i cut in another brass Tee in the engine compartment and put a 6 inch hose on that with a backflow preventer from autozone on the other side to allow air into the system once I let off the button. Therefore, no siphon-age! (I'm a plumber IRL so this was a no-brainer). IT WORKED AWESOME!!! I could spray my tires with bleach before a wicked burn-out at any time I pleased. If you don't know what bleach does, it creates a lot of smoke when you spin your tires. Makes for a great show. Anyway, if you have done this or think about doing this, the only thing I can say is rinse the bleach out of the system after you do it. Bleach is corrosive and to my detriment, my lines are all clogged now and it won't work. So I have to replace the container, pump, and all the lines, but it was so worth it!!!!
