Autometer GaugeCage piece broke...can you get this piece???

My Autometer GaugeCage has a piece that holds the gauges in place and prevents them from moving...well this piece broke and I did some looking and I seems like I have to buy the entire part, not just the part that broke. I can not see paying $45 for the entire thing when I only need this one part. Does anyone know where to get this piece only or does anyone have a fix that will take care of the problem??? I am sure this is not the first time this part has broken and there has to have been some self fixes done for this part. Thanx. Pic of part below.

You don't need that piece. Just use the single plastic ones that came with your gauges.

Now get back on the road!

is that metal? weld it and grind flush. Or just tack it on the outside and be done.

Contact Autometer directly. If the company is worth a darn they should be able to supply a replacement.

I think I will try Autometer directly and see what they say....and no it is not metal, it's probably a .99 cent piece of molded plastic with a screw thru it, pretty cheap piece if you ask me.

If it's plastic then get the Plastic Weld by Loctite. That stuff rules!
