Pretty excited to get my baby back on the road...this is a part of what i've got coming! Anybody else running the f72 AFM cams or the dss heads?? I'm realy curious exactly how they sound!

Besides the heads and all that, I've got the trickflow track heat intake coming, new oil pump, new poly motor and tranny mounts...uh...new starter and a wideband to finish off my pillar cluster! soon after this build, i'm probably gunna work on getting some 3.73s to accomodate the cams I got, then on to suspension, brakes, tires, etc... oh and I also got a synchronic bypass coming. those bypasses that procharger give you just don't cut it anywhere about like 7 psi!

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have one guy at work who understands the HP itch since he's a circle track guy. The rest of my friends just flat out dont get it.

Yup. luckily my brother is just as crazy about cars as I am, but everyone else just tells me not to waste my money and they are confused why i keep my stang when "It's always broken." I do have a girl that I work with that has a 99 trans am with cams and exhaust and she gets me...lol

Yeah nobody "gets it" around me either. I'm always contemplating the next steps for a couple more hp and everyone always talks about blue book value etc. Sure I've piece mealed a ridiculous amount of money in all kinds of bolt-ons but it has been fun along the way. (*currently waiting for suspension components to come in the mail for an install this 4th of July holiday :D ) This is an expensive hobby, I know it isn't an investment, it is purely for fun and I expect no monetary return, just a more enjoyable trip to work- all while still getting mpg's in the low 20's with spirited city driving. :nice:

Tell us how those DSS ported heads work out for you. I'm jealous. I'd love a set of ported PI heads. :nice:

Got my parts from DSS yesterday!! Here's some pictures!! I'm down to the bare block on my build. with the possibility of metal getting into the oil, I decided it would be worth it to pull the bottom apart too while we are already there. paid off cuz the clevites were showing some wear signs, so now just a few more parts... until then, my heads can keep me warm at night!
