I am looking into replacing the struts and shocks on my mustang but what about the axel dampner/wrap should I replace them at the same time? Do they wear?
yes they can wear out but there is no reason to replace them IMO put that money towards a nicer set of LCA's and they are not even nessesary. they are there to prevent axle wrap but a nice set of LCA will prevent that and also provide much better axle location at the same time.
After some research I may go with the kyb or billett shocks/struts and bbk LCA.
Does that sound like a good idea for a stock height daily driver with a buget to consider?
Is the LCA an easy replacement ?
