If you want the your S197 to be loud, then you need to swap for an O/R H or O/R X pipe. Getting rid of the cats is really the only way to wake these up sound wise.
Sure the axle backs are audible at WOT, but catless, they rumble all the time
I have to disagree with that. I just installed Kooks longtubes with high flow cats and I have the slp loudmouth muffler's. I will try to get a video up so you guys can hear it. Unreal.
I currently have mac, and it's got a nice soft tone and you can hear it.....x-pipe or hpipe is on the list though....still deciding which one. A memeber on here has a sound clip in the Talk section with his mac axle back and hpipe and it sound nice IMO.
I'm debating between Magnaflow (not Magnapack) and Hooker Aerochamber. Maybe a MAC Pro-Chamber down the road, but for now I just want to do the axlebacks.
