axle question

Whoa whoa whoa!!!!!!!!!

Let's get this straight. What are you trying to do with the brake setup? The axles themselves will work, but it depends on the brakes. If you are trying to use the '97 axles with your existing drum brakes, they won't work. The '97 axles are 3/4" wider per side than the Fox length axles. Unless you can find some type of custom drum.

Now, if you take the rear disk brake setup, and install it on your Fox with the '97 axles, it will work fine. You will obviously need five lug wheels. You will also need a diff. offset wheel for the rear, as the axles are 3/4" wider per side.

But to answer the original question in the asker's form, Yes the axles will fit in your housing. That is what the M-2300K Cobra brake kit uses for axles, '94-'98.

Thank You, I seen all the Nopes and thought WTF! As long as he takes the rear brakes with him the axles will work fine as the axle housing is exactly the same!

or you can just use two pass side aerostar 5 lug axles, the ten inch drums from it, and the backing plate for a ten inch drum upgrade and 5 lug for cheap.
