i have a whole rear end from a 2001 gt at my disposal and i was wondering that since those axles are longer than the ones in our cars, if i could put those in and have them push my wheels out since i am kind of afraid of runnig wheel spacers.
any info is appreciated
thanks
steve

I was thinking the same thing about pushing the wheels out. I don't see how anything would be a problem.

Why be afraid of wheel spacers? As long as you get a high quality brand and don't go more than 1 1/4 in. then you'll be fine.

im not an expert but wouldnt you also need the longer axle tubes for the longer axles? your best bet is using the whole rear section IMO

Let's see .....

SN95 axle's are 3/4" longer per side than Fox's (maybe even a hair more; more like 15/16"). And the NE axle's are 1.4" longer per side .... again compared to Fox's. The Fox axle's are 29".

Doing the math ..... the NE axle SHOULD be 30.4" per side ... and our's SHOULD be 29 15/16" (or 29.9"). So I'm guessing the NE axle's are roughly 1/2" longer per side compared to ours ....

Just FYI. Also, anyone can chime in if they think I screwed the math up.
