b 303,,,help

my cousin just recently changed his cam and he gave me his b303 cam ,he only had it in his car for like 2 months ,my question is this. can i put the new cam in and just keep my factory rollers and everything or do i have to replace alot of my factory stuff ,if i do have to replace factory stuff what exactly do i need to replace,im ready to get this cam in,but i dont want to have to change all of my factory stuff.

As long as your valvetrain components are in good shape, I think you should be able to reuse most everything.

You can reuse the lifters and I'm pretty sure you can reuse the pushrods, just be sure to check. I would definitely get a new set of 1.6 rocker arms for pedestal mount heads. Those stockers are kind of mickey mouse if you ask me. If you have the extra cash to put out for new spirings, that wouldn't be a bad idea either. Your going to need a new timing cover gasket, and you can reuse your timing chain but it's not a highly recommended idea.

i would REALLY get new springs and roller rockers to go with the cam

that cam has even more duration than an e cam

my question to you...would you run an ecam on stock springs?
