B303 question

Hi guy
I have a question , i have mostly stock 302 on my fox. Headers-upper lower gt40 intake and msd fire .My rear gear is 3.73 and i have a t5 . How many hp i would gain if i put a b303 camshaft ?? I know is a bit of work to put in but im ok with that . Do im gonna feel the difference with the stock one ?? Thanks

You’ll gain some top end pull after 3500rpm, but might lose some bottom end torque.

For the time/money spent, there are better cams out there

There is no realistic gain in putting a different cam in with stock heads.

I agree with revhead347. If you are gonna do it, get a matched set of heads and cam. That will definitely get you a power increase you can feel. Out of all of the mods I did to my Fox, besides the SC of course, the heads and cam gave me by far the most performance increase. And it makes the car sound mean as well. Nothing like a push rod 5.0l with a nice cam.

Your just moving the power band up slightly which with stock heads and valve train isn't going to help performance at all and may actually make you slower.
