I paid $600 to have the chassis, fenders, door, and trunklid done. I live in the bay area so price could be a little high. They said that to do a complete car they charge 1000 inside and out. I have to say that they did a really good job they got everything and all the panels are still as strait as they were when i droped it off.

I live in the bay area too! Where was the shop located. I don't know where to start. Should I take care of the know rust areas first then send it in to get blasted and epoxy primed or should I get it blasted then see what I am working with? Any suggestions? Are you planning on expoxy priming it too?

the best thing to do is take it apart and then have it blasted dont waste your time fixing the rust now it will be alot easier once it is all clean and you will probably find more rust then you think so exspect the worst.

The name of the place is Myers sandblasting it is in oakland

after is is all blasted get it primed as soon as you can if you have a lot of metal work like I do then do it after you get the metal work done or dont spray those areas.
Im going to prime mine as soon as i fix the floor and finish the 4 link

Very true. Thank you for the insight. I will be doing the bodywork myself so I just gotta figure if its worth dragging the car back and forth or pick up one of those eastwood media blasting setups. Either way I have some time to think about it. Thank you.
