Yes... and you'll love the reaction from your SOTP dyno.

So long as: You also replace all of those previously mentioned soft parts (gaskets, seals, etc). A couple of new sensors are probably in order as well (O2s come to mind). You may also need a new mass air sensor.

Ok guys. If I'm going to replace gaskets I'm going to use a better head as well. I'm already into the engine. First off I think are gears elec fan and subframe connectors then I'll start saving for the paint and trim for the body and interior.

Why would anyone throw time and money at something that will be worth nothing when complete, whilst a proper 308 is being built?
Put your money into the real engine, go to bed and sleep well.
