Well, I called the 800# today to check the status of my vehicle order? Strange thing is last week I had a compatability issue(IUP?) with my order. I have made no changes and today I called and it is clean and unsceduled. Anyone know what gives?

In case you have not read any of my other posts, I ordered this car in Late Sept. Still no VIN or nothing. The the IUP delay comes out last week and it looks like my wait is going to be even more extended.

Number is 800-962-3746. You will need the following info from your Dora:

Dealer number: 5 digits - no letters
Body code should be: T82
Model year: 2005 - Duh
Press 1 and use the automated system. This number is really only supposed to be used by dealers.

Zman, send me a message and let me know what my buddy Jason said. Or just reply here, whatever... Did he say anything about the IUP delay? I sent him a email called several times and he never calls me back or replys to my email. I am not very happy with his lack of professionalism. I have spoke to Stephanie but I may as well be talking to a rock.

I ordered nothing out of the ordinary "at the time". GT Premo, 5 spd, IUP, Anti-theft, airbags, shaker 1000. My dealer apparently gets one allocation per year. Thats what it seems like anyway...

Sorry about that long wait. Probably your dealer has a low allocation in relation to taken orders? At least the status change is good news. It is because enough orders have been changed to exclude IUP. Ford has a supply shortage for IUP in the january production and needed more orders without IUP to utilizise full production capacity in the factory. That is why no orders with IUP were allowed the last 2 weeks and some existing orders recived the error status. The status change, and the fact that several other forum members with orders has reported scheduled build dates in january, is a confirmation that the production date of your (and mine) car is getting closer!

EDIT: I am just speculating , what do you think?

Sounds good to me. But I have got my hopes up several times only to be set back again. I got tired of waiting and found another similar to the one I had on order. I could of bought it at invoice. However, the dealer I ordered through would not return my deposit. So I am back to waiting.

I hope you are right!!
