Just purchased a deep impact blue GT and love it. Talk about some upgrades from my old 2005 4.6 GT, wow!
Starting out with the Ford X-pipe delete kit and keeping the stock mufflers on my 2016. I'm going to stay with the warranty for awhile rather than doing a Bama tune. Just read that Ford Racing has a ProCal 3 tuner in the works and should be released soon. I'll probably go with this since it's installed by the dealer and doesn't void your warranty. I figure 18-20 is good with a warranty vs 30 hp without one. Please let me know if you have experience with the Procal tuner. Most likely I'll start installing the 2016 performance pack next with emphasis on the handling part. Any feedback on Steeda or Eibach springs vs Ford Racing?
Thanks again for your feedback!
Dewman

Did you have a typo on your HP? looks like your missing about 70 HP especially with it being tuned.

Had FR street lowering springs installed as well as the resonantor delete done on the car on Christmas Eve.
The springs have dropped it 3/4". Normally takes a week or more to get them totally lowered. Driving impressions just a little bit stiffer. However, throw into some tight curves and wow, rock steady.
The resonantor delete is fabulous! Lost 15 lbs and exhaust note 50% deeper withe oem mufflers. The install should be featured in upcoming article in Mustang Driver. Here's an after pic.

FYI- just weighed the stock base GT springs at 28.5 lbs and the FR street springs come in at 38.2 lbs and they are stout vs the stockers. Given the resonantor delete is 23 lbs and the FR X-pipe is 8 lbs so that is 15 lbs savings. So the spring difference is 9.7 lbs heavier but you still save 5.3 lbs over all from the resonantor delete.
