Well I'm gonna have to drop my 03 GT back off at the shop again. I keep getting a Bank 1 Sensor 2 check engine light. I replaced the sensor but the CEL persists. I wiped the code a few times and it keeps coming back. It first happened a week ago. I was driving and smelled some smoke. I stopped and noticed a moderate amount of smoke coming from the driver's side wheel well. So AFter it cleared I drove off...and now I'm thinking that somehow a part of the O2 sensor wire on the transmission harness came into contact with something hot and got eaten away. I wanted to do a scan to see if the sensor is picking any info up at all just to be sure. But I can't get my hands on a scan tool. I also crawled under the car to see if anything looked suspicious but everything looked intact. In fact, nothing looks out of the ordinary at all. So I will drop her off today and have her looked at. Any advice?
