Hello Everyone, newbie here.
Purchased a '02 GT a few months ago and have noticed a consistent single backfire on warm startup when the idle speed drops from it's initial start speed.
It backfires one time after each warm start, and the problem does not seem to be there when it's cold.
It's a 5sp with about 32k miles. Only known mods are a AEM Brute Force CAI and Borla cat-back exhaust. Other than this the car runs like a champ and sounds great.
The "pop" isn't that loud and sounds like it may be firing back into the intake vs the exhaust.
Anyone seen this before?
