hey guys so i have a 90 lx 302 and ill give you a little background on what happened to it... me and my dad took it to a dyno to find some extra power and to make a long story short it didnt like 12 psi of non intercooled boost so it detonated and blew the head gaskets, so i replaced the head gaskets and used mr gasket mls but when i got it running, it ran ok for about 10 miles and then started backfiring with the slightest amount of throttle and i had a reduction in power. it almost sounds like a poping until it loads up then it really backfires. so i started taking it back apart and noticed the top of some of the valves have some worn pits in them. could this mean they are bent? i have nothing but time to mess with this thing but i want to make sure i fix whatever the problem is before i put it back together again. thanks for your help.
