i have no idea whats wrong with my car. it backfire's through the intake, and then starts to run fine. i thought it was the timing, but the timings correct. its an 88 gt. and lately it seems to be going through alot of gas. but i just replaced the plugs and wires and no change. it also don't have any mufflers on it. and 2 out the 4 cats are hollowed out.(sounds like a truck, bought it that way). i'm just curious if any1 else has had this issue, and 1 more thing is it surge's when i have the lights on. when first starting, it'll start up, and then die right out. but start it again, and it stays running. could someone help plz....thanx..
