BAD CAMBER??? Need Help!!!!!!

I just installed all the suspension equipment mentioned below in my signature. Today I took my car in to Sears to get it alligned and they told me my camber is off so much that they can't set it correctly. I guess the stock equipment doesn't allow for much adjustment and they said I need Caster/Camber plates in order to make the allignment correct. I don't know much about how they measure camber but he said it was off 4.0% negative in the front and the best they could do was like 2.3% negative camber but he said at this rate it would wear my new tires very fast in the middle of the tire. The mechanic was kinda laughing when he said it too so it must be really off. Sears has a 6 month warranty for allignments so they said if I bring it back after I put the plates on they will redo the allignment for free. So I guess that's cool.

I don't want to wear my new tires improperly so I guess my only option is to dish the money for the C/C Plates but my question is why? I figured that the pro-kit (1.5in Drop) was ok without the plates. I thought they were for drops of like 2.0in or more??? It is really pissing me off that I have to spend at least another $170 bucks (in addition to the grand I have already spent on the other suspension stuff) for plates Has anyone else had this happen with pro-kit springs?

Also, what C/C plates should I buy? I know Steeda is good but do I go 3 bolt or 4 bolt? Is 4 bolt worth it for the extra 50 bucks? Any other brands better than Steeda's?

But I took mine to good year and they can't warranty mine b/c the car was lowered... Why the **** didn't they tell me before.. I'm taking the car to sears next time once I got c/c installed..

I would be even more pissed if they did that to me. Sorry to hear.

Go 4 bolt Kenny Brown. They are a very nice product. I have the three bolt Steeda ones, and they work fine..

Do the three bolt ones from Steeda have enough movement in them or do they have the same movement as the 4 bolt ones?

Some cars you should be able to drill out the rivots in the stock plates and re-adjust them just fine. Most of us need the after market plates. Maximum Motorsports makes a very good C/C plate (4 bolt design). Lot's of plates make noise after some time of use. Never heard anything bad about MM C/C plates.

I usually try to buy the best I can... I bought MM C/C plates.

Do the regular Steeda (3 bolt ones) make noise? I want to go cheap here.
