I just put a original cobra intake on my car and deleted the smog pump. Now I have a really bad exhaust smell inside my car, and today when I came to a stop sign I seen some blue smoke come out of my exhaust. Anybody have any ideas. Any help is apreciated.

blue smoke im pretty sure is caused by oil entering the cylinder.
check your spark plugs, see if they got oil on them.
as for the smell, it might be just an exhaust leak coming in from a crack some where..maybe shifter area.

(thought) leaking valve cover gasket could let oil run down into an exhaust leak , causing exhaust smell and oil burning blue smoke at the same time
make sure your headers are on tight with gasket

also, if you put your cobra intake on yourself did you put on all gaskets... cuz that could cause vacuum leak sucking in any oil nearby...possibly from leaky valvecover.

Dumps are small smooth cornered elbows. A piece of pipe on the back of the muffler that curves down.. hence the term "Dumps" because it dumps the exhaust out the muffler directed at the ground. It makes everything a lot louder, but it also makse exhaust stink up your car.

And yeah, if you have dumps, it WILL stink up your car, especially if the temperature control is set in the hot position. Exhaust will enter through the outside air duct. You dont even have to have the blower motor on, it still gets in. Try turning it to the cool setting that way its not pulling outside air in.

5.0's have stinky ass exhaust, especially if you get rid of your cats and maybe even the smog pump. The exhaust on my 92 makes my eyes burn, and I smell like exhaust after getting out of it. 5.0's need cats. My guess is the combustion isnt as efficient as newer cars. My 96 has blown out cats and it doesn't smell that bad at all.

yea dude my cockpit smells horrible!! i think its because i dont have tailpipes and theres a hole underneath the shifter...but and I totally hear where your comin from about your EYES BURNING...LOL..but hopefully i can get under the car this weekend to make sure there arent any holes in the exhaust system.

check for holes and loose connections at the intermediate pipe and header collectors. running seafoam through the engine will help smoke out all the exhaust leaks
