Ok here it is I have a bad lower intake no cracks no holes but it appears to not mate up correctly anymore! Used all of the lower tricks rtv around the water jackets, new gaskets, retorque all done correctly! My question is can A machine shop fix this if it is not true and how would they do this and how would it affect the head mating etc

The first time I took my lower intake off (GT40 that came with the car) I about threw it through a window. It would not mate to the heads for anything. There was a huge gap at the front and rear of the intake, way to big to fill with RTV. I couldnt understand what was going on until I looked in the bottom of the gasket box and found the two blue silicone gaskets sitting there.... Live and learn. Although i still smothered them with RTV just to be safe
