I need to replace my axle seals because one is leaking so im doing both at the same time, might as well. So when i opened up the rear end, i go to take the pinion lock bolt out so i can remove the axle shafts, and half of the bolt comes out. So half of the pinion lock bolt remains inside locking the pinion in. Ridiculous situation. There is nothing I could come up wiht to remove the rest of the bolt. I closed everything back up. The seals arent leaking to bad, so its not an immidiate problem, but its going to have to be dealt with soon. Anyone ever have this happen ? Im probably going to have to take it to some one. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks.
Bad rear end problem. Give me some ideas.
