I have a 95 Automatic and today when i backed out it made a real bad sound it wasn't grinding butit wasn't a crucnhing sound eather nor a ping or pop. It was constant. I will try to get some more details
i've had my 94 auto do the same thing. almost like a hard metal rubbing or something. it was only when i put on the brakes though. not to sure if yours is brake related though.
