Someone mentioned body kits on notches, I agree, but it's about time to retire DECH kits on ANY stang. Sorry guys, but i've had it with the dech kit and ROH rim combo, damn, it's so 90's.

I agree......whats with everyone hating 4 lug. Thats what the damn cars came with. I have been thinking about going 5 lug but only because i want a wheel that is only offerd as 5 lug......I did just score a 88 Turbo Coupe rear end so it looks like i might just be going with 4 lug and disc brakes at all corners. So are my mods over looked and cheesy cause i didnt fallow the current trend of swapping to 5 lug?

Any thing out of the Lund catalog is usually not good looking in my book.....Nothing says performance like a non functional stick on hood scoupe!

and whats the deal with hating cowl hoods? Most people with an up graded motor dont even need them as most peoples cars are EFI. .

Sometimes theyre needed because the stock hood wont clear the intake manifold.

My friend had a 4" cowl hood on his completely stock '98 GT. To me it was hideous and overkill because he didnt have anything at all done to the car. He bought the car wrecked and the factory hood was busted so he bought a big cowl one.

Sorry to hear that.

and RdstanG I like the Cobra's but that just seems like the wheel most people with 4 lugs go to. I thought the Saleens would be different. So far have not seen them on another fox around here.

Cobra R wheels, regardless of size or lug pattern. Around my area they are more common than pony wheels. I even see them on 4 banger stangs. Oh ya luggage rack trunklids on verts. I know they were stock from the factory, but I am finnally getting rid of mine. Ive hated the way my trunk lid looks from day 1. The worst has to be the home made side exit exhuast that runs under the GT side skirts.

I can't stand to see Mustangs with stainless wheel well trim, or any car for that matter. While I'm at it, I hate Dayton wires on tiny tires that stick out 6 inches on each side. I don't see those as often anymore, but I know they're still around some where. I'm not big on any 4 lug wheels even though that's what I have on my GTs. It's a shame that Fox owners have to convert to 5 lugs when Ford was too cheap to do it at the factory. Even my Corvair has 5 lugs and it's a 6 cylinder.

Oh the verbal nut kick it is...ah well I like it and since I seriously predate the 90's...80's and way too much of the 70's to mention, I figure being 90's is not all that bad.

The only reason to run 5 lug is for getting better brakes, (to my knowledge the largest front rotors you can get in 4 lug with out making your own stuff is 12”)

Guys that upgrade to 5 lug and keep stock sized brakes are far more retarded than guys that keep their stuff 4 lug (at least they aren’t wasting money to not improve the car)

I have many pet peeves with mustang owners and many have already been talked about, here are a few that haven’t:

-Dead stock-mild engine and aftermarket dizzy (to be honest you need to be pretty serious to get an aftermarket dizzy on our cars)

-Mustang owners that can’t tune, turn wrenches, etc; we aren’t ricers people

-chrome wheel well lips

-Stickers of products you don’t have (even if you do have them, I don’t put a sticker on my car unless they are paying me to do it, that is how sponsorship works.)

-Daytons

-Those ridiculously large worthless yellow Accel coils

-big cam, stock engine

-Those x braces people put across the hatch area

There are many others, but those are the ones that just popped into my head

I know I'll get some crap for this, but I don't like Saleen wings on any fox that isn't a Saleen. I think they're a bit tacky to begin with, but if it's on a Saleen, that's cool.

My only problem with 4-lug Cobra R's is that you can see the dinky discs and drums through the rim.

I don't have that problem, you can't see MY dinky brakes through my TEN HOLES!!!!

Luggage rack delete with GT taillights.

I think the GT tail lights just look outta place without the ol' luggage rack. Just an opinion, of course. I know lots of people do it. I love the look of a clean deck lid with lx/cobra tail lights though

I can also do without luggage racks, unless there's a suitcase strapped to it.

I have to say there are two things i can't stand on mustangs, Euro tail lights (were on my car when i bought it, but was cured soon after with LX tail lights...mmm sexy) and the holes in the rear bumper for the tail pipes. If you want your tail pipes to show, get a cobra body kit, or better yet, buy a LX.
