Well guys i think my run with the pony might be coming to an end.
Yesterday morning i was driving to my boyfriends house on wet roads. i'm sure you all know our cars don't do too well with turning the wheel and having to accelerate at the same time(or at least mine doesn't). well i was forced into that situation by a redlight, started to hydroplane, over corrected(it was WAY too early to think about driving skills and i suck), did a 360* into the grass and my car had a little fight with a speed limit sign post.
Anyway, my divers side rear quater looks horrible so i'm going to try to replace it as soon as possible, but it'll be difficult because i have to pay out of pocket because my dad flipped on me about insurance since this will be my third incedent, including a hit and run.
My question first is if any of you guys are looking for a cheap project car, my engine is impecable and the damage is an easy fix if you have the time and money to go junk yard shopping.
My second question is how much it would be worth with the following damages:
scuffed up bumper, crooked right headlight due to bent fender and something broken in the engine bay that holds the lights in place, minor crack(could be easily bondoed) in the hood)...all from the first incedent
dented pass. side vent from the hit and run
now, completely F*ed up rear quarter and the sideskirt is smashed on the end so it'll need a new one of those too.
My parents are heavily suggesting that i sell it and i would rather just get a slow car now to get them off my back and maybe return to the mustang world a little later in life.
Any input would be greatly appreciated
If anyone has any spare bodyparts(for the car of course) or is interested in buying it at all the car is forrest green, tan top, tan leather int., AODE
