I am installing lowering springs and need a liitle help. I am using the American Muscle installation guide and am on step #8. Just can't seem to get the ball joint and spindle loose from the control arm. Any one got any hints for me?

You need to hit the control arm pretty good, I normally use a 3lb hammer when doing this type of thing.

if you cant get the spindle loose, just do what i did and unbolt the stock cc plates and thus the strut mount on top so everything just falls out. let me see if i can find the write up..

EDIT: heres one that does the same thing, except you can choose to unbolt the strut from the main bolt, or just take the plate off so you dont have to deal with air tools or having to wrench that big retaining bolt off the top (its torqued really really well):
