Alright, So i've got the stock mach 460. I know it's always a contro. regarding what to do with it.

I don't actually have a problem with the sound system, only it needs alot more bass.

I'm trying to think of a creative solution, all I really want is alot more bass but I don't want to have to replace the entire stock system.

Any ideas guys?

All you need is a line level adapter to RCA usually wired in at the rear mach 460amps. Then just add a amp, run wires and hook up a subwoofer and your set! You can even use one of the wires off the mach amps for your amp turn on. Its fairly easy and shouldn't take more than day.

I don't know if you need a more detailed approach.

I pretty much followed this guide when doing it. I have a vert, so my amps are behind my rear seat. The guide may look like a lot of stuff needs to be done, but is fairly quite easy to follow. You can find line level adapters at most car audio shops, or online at Crutchfield or Soundomain. I am running a Kicker 10'' in a MTX Thunderform box powered by a Soundstream amp. I have the amp at 1/4 gain and its enough for me. Other stang owners have used the JL stealthbox and others.

This is what I did,

I only added subs and amp. The factory Mach460 was left intact.
