BASSANI BAFFLES/RESONATORS FOR MAGNAFLOW CATBACK

Did anyone install the Bassani baffles/resonators on the Magnaflow catback system? Does it completely get rid of the drone on hwy? Any performance loss/or sound loss? Any inputs will be well appreciated. Bassani sells them directly for $70/set + S&H.

I tried them out with my MagnaPacks and they worked quite well -- for a while. The fiberglass matting blew out a few strands at a time until most of it was gone.

I am going to try stainless steel wool next. It has very good acoustic damping properties but I haven't had much luck finding the s.s. wool in less than 5 lb wad.

I suggest that you call Bassani and relay my sad tale and ask if they have any suggestions. I gave up on the baffles and am back to enjoying the roar (but some of my dearest passengers don't like it!).

Mine have been in over a year. They work great. I never even considered touching them after installation.
