Do you know if those mufflers are chambered or hollowed? And how loud/tame is it inside the car-any interior vibrations with it?

I love that sound man.

It isn't loud at all inside the car. As far as vibration goes none! just a little rumble from the x pipe. I have heard bassani with off road and it's one of the loudest things I've heard! It actually sounds better IMO with the cats. And it is loud enough to wake the neighbors. literally haha

Wow!

That makes me wish I had gone with a 4.6 instead of a 5.0 after all.

Oh well...there's always next year.

But seriously..that sounds really nasty.

IMO: The 4.6l modular mustangs 99-up are THE best sounding cars.

I've always thought the same thing. The 5.0's sound deeper but the 4.6 sounds meaner.

That bassani has a real musclecar rumble down low then a exotic car sound up high. Very nice. It kind of reminds me of the lm II clips I've heard

So does anyone know what type of mufflers these are? By the sound of it I'm guessing its hollowed (straight-thru), but I wanna make sure.

check the other thread about Bassani that was floating around yesterday. i asked the same question and a guy posted a pic of a Bassani muffler cut-out. the title of the thread was something about switching from Flows to Bassani.

man, i'm sickly in love with my LMII's, but after hearing the Street Comps, im seriously thinking about trying out the Bassani mufflers. like someone said, they are the perfect medium between chambered muffs and straight through muffs. deep rumble down low and loud and exotic up top without being raspy. nice

<----side exhaust bassani, and i love it! for sound and stealth. helps me hide my 32V swap and pple coming up from behind think i have a sadly 4 banger. quiet at idle, and aggressive when you get on it. though with the side exhaust the drone can be pretty loud.

i was checking out the bassani site and that didnt really help me all too much. i baught my car with the setup it has now...it has a offroad x with the cats though... mufflers.. i was told i have flows but they arent the 40's.. the car isnt very rumbly... its pretty loud now, and i guess i like it, but i am thinking of switching mufflers. if i go with the bassani ones, to achieve the same sound as in the vid, all i need is the mufflers right? i dont have any clips of my exhaust right now, but i will try to get some tomoro. i want some feedback/advice to see weather it would be worth it for me to get different mufflers. also, how much would they cost? i couldnt find any prices on bassani.com and i am also not sure wich muffler to get amongst the several choices. thanks alot for the info, i just dont wanna start another thread about this.... thanks..

I believe you can buy the Bassani mufflers by themselves but they are not cheap. If you change out to the Flows to Bassani, it'll sound different and i think better. I had Bassani X and Flows on my old GT. This time around i got the Bassani catback and so far, it sounds 10 times as good as the flows.
