Hi, I'm new to the forum. Just purchased my first mustang. Its a 97 GT that is completely stock all but a Bassani O/R X pipe that previous owner had installed. There are no cats at all and I am getting 2 codes with CEL, P0156 and P0161. I have bought MIL eliminators and installed, disconnect battery to reset ECM, drove for awhile and now CEL is back on and still getting same codes. I've looked at all the wiring and don't see any bear wires or any frays. Any ideas? I thought the MILs would stop the CEL. Any help would be appreciated.
