I currently have hooker long tube headers on my 97 cobra. I am wondering what kind of performance difference I will notice if i change to bassani mid length headers. I would like to improve my ground clearance which was taken away from me by the Hookers. I will eventually be supercharging this vehicle so keep that in mind. also what type of ground clearance improvement could I expect?
Thanks

about an inch or two. You wont see much loss of hp either even with the blower. maybe a few hp loss if that. If you go with bassani mid lengths you will need their five piece x pipe to fit it correctly.

the bassani stuff is great quality. the fit and sound are awesome. if you get their multi piece X it will all go together perfectly. no cutting welding or guessing.

Yeah, you won't see any loss in performance at all. The primaries on them are over 27", which has been shown to be all that's necessary for proper scavengine on a small displacment engine like ours. They're still not as space concious as shorty headers, but they will offer you better ground clearance.

Now, I'd never say anything like that.
