Bassani X-Pipe question

I tried mine both w and w/o the cats and preferred the sound w the cats.....seem to run a little stronger up top w/o though...

I prefer the sound of the catted X pipe over the O/R X as well. The O/R X pipe will give you a little advantage on top end as stated above.

No matter which you pick, you will be happy. Enjoy. Athoulgh it depends on your priorities.

More HP - Adv - No Cats
No Emissions Law - Adv - No Cats
Sound - Adv - Cats (IMO2)
Environmentaly Friendly - Adv - Cats (relatively speaking)
Cost - Adv - No Cats

I love my Bassani!!!

If it has no cats do I lose low end power or gain as well? Im aware through the responses that I gain upper Hp gains in higher rpm's but what about the lower?

The X-pipe seems to cause a slight drop; not really all that noticeable, in the lower rpms. An aftermarket H-pipe will give the car more low end grunt.

You will loose low end too on a off road h pipe .

Correct, sorry if I confused anyone, you will lose low end torque with the aftermarket H as well compare to the stock H due to less back pressure, but not as much as you would with the X.
