i looked in the sound archive on mustangexhaust and there are no sound clips of a 4.6 L gt running BASSANI CATTED X, BASSANI QUIET THUNDER CAT BACK, AND LONGTUBE HEADERS. does any one know how this would sound?

is bassani a straight through or chambered exhaust system?

How loud would the above setup be with and without the long tubes?

Would this turn heads?

The current exhaust setup i am looking at now is LONGTUBE HEADERS, PROCHAMBER, AND 2 CHAMBER FLOWS. which one do u think would sound better?

keep in mind i will be adding heads cam nitrous and a stroker kit down the road would the flowmasters really take away a lot of power as opposed to a straight through mufflers. thanx i know its a lot of questions but i dont wanna waste any more money.

Yep, it's a straight thru muffler. The overall sound is good and it can indeed turn some heads.

I suggest the Dr. Gas over the ProChamber. To each his own, but the unique sound of the Dr. Gas along with flows creates pure joy. Best sounding exhaust combo out there in my opinion.

To me, it doesnt get any better than flows and a prochamber, but ill agree that the Dr. Gas sounds badass like Atlantagtr said. Somebody had a clip on here one time of it and it will definately scare some old ladies. Either way, I think your getting a great exhaust. The Dr. Gas has to be cut and welded up but at the same time, it makes great power. The prochamber just sounds awesome to me, so when my warranty runs out, it will be on my car. Good luck with whatever you choose. Oh and about the bassani, its a little rich for my budget but it is wonderfully built and will prolly last a lifetime.

Which longtube headers was it that u didnt have to remove the headers if u wnated to mess wiht the tranny? I forgot the manufactuers name.

I've had the Quiet Thunder set-up for about 2 years and love the sound. I'm very happy with it and don't plan on changing it out anytime soon.

I cant find an online store that sales bassani, tried completeexhaust.com bassaniexhaust.com and fulllineexhaust.com. I been listen to flowmasters and bassani clips all night. the bassani qt cat back and catted x sounds deep, but i just cant get over the flowmaster sound. tough decisions. basically when i drive by i want people to go HOLY CRAP!!!! I'AM BUYING A MUSTANG I LOVE THAT SOUND.

I think its Hooker that makes headers that you dont have to take off to mess with the tranny stuff. Good luck

I've ordered 2 bassani catbacks and 2 bassani x pipes from him.

BTW I have the Bassani X pipe(w/cats) and Catback and I love it but it's VERY EXPENSIVE.

Good Luck with your decision.

I know the bassani cats have a bad rep...if i were to bet i'd say that the magnaflow x pipe is more reliably based on what people have posted.

I have vids of how my setup sounds on my website if your interested

already heard

That's why I'm having a hard time deciding. I just know that even with Bassani dropping Catco and using other cats they STILL won't pass the sniffer. Magnaflow will pass the sniffer. As bad as I want an o/r, it's just not worth the 1000 dollar ticket if you get caught. So I'm torn. Bassani is about 369 with cats and Magnaflow is alot more expensive now. So who knows, I may stay a Bassani whore.

I believe Magnaflow only raised their "advertising price"...you can still probably find someone to give it to you at a lower price if you look around.
