Had white lettered Dunlops on my z28 wheels I had on my white Monte Carlo. I thought it looked good. PITA to keep clean and looking good tho if u daily it
Hey i'm new, and i'm really excited someone else likes this look. I was going to get the same set up with the refined front wheels, but i'm curious about what you had to machine off the back? That would be really helpful or if there was a different wheel i should get to avoid that.
Glad others here like the look too. As for the back drums: the hole/bore in the middle has a small lip, which just BARELY prevents the bassett wheel from mounting flush to the mounting face of the drum. One solution would be to machine the bore of the wheel to be larger, but I chose to have the drums machined since they were easier to rig up in the lathe. with the lip there, the wheel would wobble a bit after mounting. Took me forever to figure out why. Also, should point out that when Bassett says you cannot centre off the centre bore/hub, they really mean it! You absolutely must centre with the lugs.
