Bat relocation ,right or left?

Guys that have put there batterie in the trunk,is it on the driver or passenger side? witch one is the best?

i dont know for sure, but i think some put them in the pass rear. i might put it in the driver side rear, as the pass side loads up on launch anyhow (dips) - plus i think it would be a little less wiring to run.

Passenger rear is supposedly the best.

As long as you move it to the trunk, you are moving in the right direction.

I always assumed the passanger side was best,because thats 40lbs to make up for the driver on the other side of the car. Kind of eavens it out.

Behind the drivers seat on the floor . Not practical at all, but I have seen it done.

What wire size are you using? the positive wire will be at least 10 feet longer? Did you kept the original #4 size? Or bigger wire is a must?

i think guys use a 1/0 gauge cable.

Definitely a smaller gauge 1 or 0 because of the longer run. Current travels along the outer shell of a strand of wire where the resistance is smallest. Smaller gauge equals more strands equals smaller resistance equals less power wasted heating the wire.
