Battery Light Flickers

yesterday i was racing this guy and when i hit u around the 5,000 rage my batter lights flickers and my lights go dime a little bit. what could this be?

I think it means your alternator is unable to charge the battery at 5000rpms. I would go and do a test at a parts store or something.

Could be the belt slipped. I know it is hard to do with that serpintine but it can happen.
