Hi! I am wondering if anyone has ever used a 2/O gauge wire on their battery? Would it work better or make any difference from the stock? I am doing a 3G alternator upgrade and I'm wondering if this would be a good option.

the thicker the better. the only problem that I potentially see with 2/0 is being able to crimp ends. if you can do it, go for it.

don't forgot to upgrade all wires including grounds as well.

If you go with 2/0, get some 2/0 copper rings and solder the wire to the eyelets, do not crimp them. Get some battery posts with a top bolt and slide the ring onto the bolt. That is how I did all my electrical cables.

Can you be more specific? What do you mean all wires including grounds, are you talking about the alternator wires.
