Well I think my battery charger has seen better days, so I'm looking into a new one.

The thing I'm wondering is: should I get a booster or an actual battery charger? The booster would be mobile so I could take it in whichever vehicle I'm driving and should start the car, so would that be better than a charger?

I looked at sears.com and found these:
DieHard 10/2/50 amp. Automatic Battery Charger
Sears item #02871222000 Mfr. model #71222

Schumacher Mity Mite Power Jump Starter
Sears item #02871472000 Mfr. model #94026733

Motor Trend Jumpstart
Sears item #08059069000 Mfr. model #59069

Any help appreciated.

Thanks:SNSign:

Get the Motortrend Jumpstart. Not only does it charge your battery, but can inflate tires and such.

well that's kinda my question DeVus...The boosters boost the battery just like you would jump start it with another car, but will it actually charge the battery if I plug the booster into the wall and hook the battery up?

It seems to me that the "LED battery light indicator" should be used when charging the battery.

I assumed that was to indicate the amount of charge the internal battery has. This unit has an internal battery that allows you to "boost" your battery, power the compressor, and the items you plug into it.

I wish I could find someone who has one!

You could always try calling the company/store that sells it and ask...
