battery drain

"Get a test light. Disconnect the negative battery cable. hookone end up to the battery cable, the other end to the negative battery post. If it lights up, then you have a short.

Now, pull each fuse until the light goes out. That is the system with the short. If none goes out then disconnect the alternator,the themsd, then the starter, then the s and i plugs on the solenoid.

Basically, disconnect everything until the light goes out. When it goes out, you've found either the system with the short in it, or the item when is malfunctioning.

I'm having a slight prob w/ battery drain myself. I figure it's just the stereo but i planned on using these tips when I got the chance. Hope this is what you were looking for. By the way, I can't give credit to the original poster because I forgot who it was, but much thanks to him/her anyways .
